Bringing Germany and India Closer

The Association for Indo-German Cooperation (GDIZ) is an independent non-profit organization based out of Munich, Germany. The organization offers a platform for the Indian and German communities for a constructive dialogue in the areas of business, politics, education and culture.

Germany is India's largest trading partner in the European Union. India with its significantly young working force, huge domestic market and growing purchasing power offers a massive hidden potential for Germany.

2012 marks a significant year in the history of Indo-German relationships as it is being celebrated as the Year of India in Germany based on the motto "Days of India in Germany 2012-2013: Connecting Cultures". Potentials in areas ranging from trade, education, research, security and infrastructure to sustainable energy and environmental technologies will be discussed as part of the bilateral talks. Also GDIZ will work closely with the Governments of India and Germany in different spheres.

Our members are highly qualified professionals from the areas of business, politics and education and students. All of us share something common - passion in promoting an exchange between India and Germany. We also invite you to join us and bring India and Germany closer.

„So far as I am able to judge, nothing has been left undone, either by man or nature, to make India the most extraordinary country that the sun visits on his rounds. Nothing seems to have been forgotten, nothing overlooked.“ Mark Twain
